Not everyone has the guts to question the existence of god. Howvever, Vedanta concluded what you believe, that is, Ishwar Asydheya (It is impossible to prove or disprove the existence of god).
Here is my take on god http://ashishbanerjee.sulekha.com/blog/post/2007/03/redefining-the-concept-of-god.htm
Good to know that you dare to think differently.

Further to my above post, I recently met an HP executive in a Jet Air flight. Smiling at my Sun T-shirt she commented "Hello, Competetion!".
I smiled back :" You mean co-optition"?
I could tell that she was from HP as she was wearing a HP employee badge (Yes, some people wear corporate badges even in flights, and it may be another way of saying, I feel proud to belong)
I took this oppertunity to tell her why I would never buy a Laptop powered by a Star. But, what she told me, changed by concept about star powered brand. She said, on the contrary to my belief that renting a Shahrukh Khan for their adverts increased their cost, it actually reduced their adspend as they can re-use the same image and copy pan india, with little bit of language reframing. She said, star power not only attracts silly (my adjective, not hers) fans, but also binds them together in a common identity. Thus by renting a star, a sponsor gets a good chunk of fan mindshare.
That day, i deplaned wiser...
Maria,
I just felt that I touched a beautiful mind.
Thanks for sharing your perfect lover...ooops...I mean the perfect stranger ;)
Cheers and have a great day ahead.

Supriya,
You have been able to coomunicate the empathetic pain of the society in dealing with trauma of crime of basic instincts. These incidents expose, the raw flesh underneath the skin deep social asthetics.

I think both Gandhi and Ramakrishna were great men. Gandhi was influenced more by Leo Tolstoy than from Bhagwat Geeta. Though at one point of time, Gandhi did comment that by disarming Indians post 1857, British have done a grave act of misdeed. This clearly conflicts with his broader views on non-violence.
Interestingly, Gandhi used non-violence as a warfare strategy against the British, who have been professing the teaching of Christ (though, not practicing it). Thus they were pushed to wall by Gandhi's strategic use of Christ's teaching of non-violence.
J Krishnamurti, once said that use of non-violence means for resistance or passive resistance is also a form of violence.
Ever since I ended my sabbatical, I have been traveling around India on business like mad. This Sunday morning, when my bags were being packed for my tour next week, I could very well connect to this poem.
This one surely touched my heart.
I do agree with you that semantics should take priority over the syntactical sugar of rhyming.
Bijaya, good to see you pass through a productive phase in your writing, Keep it going.

I am rendered speechless, and somehow felt nostalgia. Though I have hardly visited Bengal, maybe less than 6 times in last 20 years. It does takes me to this distant land where my ancestors once dewelled.
Overall an excellent jewel in your literary crown. Keep writing.
Nargis,
How cute!
for a moment you resurrected by child hood again :) The heady good old days.
I could relate to your brother Faiyaz, I too would trouble my cousins in similar ways.
You are a good writer, I like your style.
